Services | Facilitation
Many clean energy programs require collaboration among multiple internal and external stakeholders that have competing goals and needs. This can make decision-making challenging–especially during the design phase of a program. Collaborative Efficiency can provide facilitation services to help get the most out of meeting time, increase buy-in, and foster better group decision making.
Collaborative Efficiency’s facilitation services often include:
Pre-meeting services: Interview stakeholders, compile research, develop agendas, manage meeting logistics and participant communication.
Facilitation services: Manage overall flow of meeting, offer tools and activities to help groups frame choices, encourage all participants to engage, help groups stay focused on the primary goals of a meeting.
Post-meeting services: Provide summary of meeting and next steps. In some cases, incorporate meeting outcomes into a final report or recommendations document.
Christine Grant is a trained facilitator and completed a 3-day facilitation training with the National Charrette Institute in 2016. Collaborative Efficiency staff have helped facilitate meetings and strategic planning sessions for electric cooperatives, investor-owned utilities, and non-profit organizations working in the clean energy space. We specialize in facilitating consensus related to designing or re-designing programs and plans related to energy efficiency, demand response, solar, and electric vehicles.
